Getting Started via Storefront

If your company has a storefront developed in which users can easily register to complete the onboarding process, you will have to follow the next steps:

  1. Open the URL that directs you to the storefront
  2. You will be asked to register, at least, in three steps, filling information on:
  • User details(name, email address, username, and password).
  • Company details (company name, short description, legal name and registration number).
  • Address details (name, address line, postal code, city, state, country, email, phone, website).

An optional 4th step can exist if the tenant uses custom fields for companies and want to collect additional information via these fields. This is customizable.

After you complete correctly all this information a new user within a new company is created. This means that the user has been added to the system, but their email address is not yet confirmed as valid.
  1. To pass to the next state, it is necessary to validate the email address, following the instructions sent by email. Yo will be asked to take action to validate your email address, company and address.
  2. After the three steps are validated, you acquire a temporary user role that allows you to log in to the back office.
  1. Once you are logged in, you are able to edit your company information, which is at the company section, by clicking “edit company” button at the upper right part. Here you can edit information such as, short description, long description, legal name, registration number, company logo, contact data and social links.
  1. You are also able to edit the “My Account” section in the lower left part of the platform. In this section, you will find your personal information, such as full name, email address, user name, unique identifier, the option to set a new password, and the option to set up a different preferred language.
It is important to set up your language correctly because all the future email notifications will arrive in this language.
  1. After the validation process is correctly done, your user will appear as “enabled” which means, you can perform any action attributed to you by your roles and permissions assigned, such as editing info, adding new users, deactivating users, changing roles, among many others.
  2. Now you are ready to start using the platform!
